Will Hyde is an up and coming Aussie musician with a rawness and vulnerability surpassed only be his phenomenal vocal ability. Having worked with Will before on previous music videos, we’d earned our stripes bringing his lyrical world to life in bold and creative ways – something we were determined to do again for his EP, Nothing Ever Changes
Director Jarred Osborn’s idea was to embark on creating a chaptered film where Will’s seven-song EP would be broken into a suite of separate clips that would be strung together to tell a broader story – one of Will bearing all. Underpinned by the title’s sentiment, Nothing Ever Changes, the music video documents the tumultuous process of growing up. Of trying to be so many things to so many people, but discovering that beneath it all is one important consistency – your true and unwavering self.
We poured our hearts into this project, just as Will poured his heart into the tracks. It was an ambitious undertaking from day one, but it wouldn’t have been a Wildebeest project if it wasn’t. The project was a four-day bender of thrills, stress, emotion, creativity and adrenaline – and we wanted the audience to feel it all, to experience the vulnerability of Will. We can proudly say this was our pièce de resistance of 2021.
