And way out West there’s a place that’s quietly winning awards for not only doing the construction at scale thing really well, but also creating a sense of community that warms and inspires our cynical film hearts.

Woodlea is its name.

This is not our first collaboration with the minds behind this diamond out West, but it certainly is our biggest.

With Annelise Hickey in the driver’s seat and Levin Mundinger wielding the camera, we told five unique stories, each providing an insight into the routines and rituals of the people who live in Woodlea Town. Fixated on the idea that it’s the little things which make a home and home, we looked to discover the qualities and quirks that almost any community can relate to.
