N.Y.C.K. | Wild Streak
MUSIC VIDEO

A raw and restrained music video for Melbourne musicians N.Y.C.K, ‘Wild Streak’ strips back the gloss of young adulthood and tells a relatable story of adolescence.
Directed by Jarred Osborn, the film explores the end of innocence experienced in the twilight of youth, when the highs and lows of searching for meaning can turn up a confronting reality.

ADOLESCENCE
TO YOUNG
ADULTHOOD

It is a stark and stylised snapshot that rested on the performance of the two young leads, Nic Denton and Ben Keller, who worked tirelessly to create honest and realistic characters – a product of a solid and supportive cast and crew, and the ultimate trust placed in the team by the record label and band.

JARRED OSBORN

“I want people to reflect on the ongoing fact of life that you’re almost always searching for something better, but to satisfy that yearning isn’t very straight forward.”
