Director Jarred Osborn and kindred storytellers N.Y.C.K have come together once more to weave an introspective tale that navigates the tension between growing up and desperately holding onto youth.

The film rests on a balance of happiness and uncertainty, visceral emotions that draw the audience into their own reflections as the story unravels. Working closely with the actors, Jarred sought to bring to the front performances that felt relatable and raw.
“I want the audience to see glimpses of themselves in what takes place, if not directly, then in some way side by side to the things that we all go through as we grow older and try to navigate life.”
‘Alive’ is the latest in a series of films Jarred has worked on with N.Y.C.K, which include live studio takes and music videos, highlighting the fruitful creative partnership between the band and the director.
