CSPA | LEAVE LOCKDOWN BEHIND

As the dust settles on the twenty-first century’s most repugnant year to date, we now have a moment – while the wounds are still fresh and the gates are still locked – to look back and laugh at the shameful year that was. And this was exactly the aim of our most recent series of clips for the Chapel Street Precinct – a tongue-in-cheek reminder of where we’ve been, and a nudge off the couch towards what could be.

OLD WOUNDS,
FRESH PLANS

Encompassing some our most relatable lockdown lows, this series presents the sequel to the original ‘Get Off The Couch’ campaign and even reprises our original stars – Jackson Tozer and Hannah Camilleri. But rather than urging Melburnians simply to get out, we harnessed the power of 200fps shots to find humour in split second moments (inspired by the classic Carlton Draft ad of the early 2000s).

Our aim was to manufacture the kind of humour that helps you kiss goodbye your worst iso-habits, and embrace a more fulfilling life in Melbourne’s favourite urban precinct.
SPLIT
SECOND
HUMOUR

This series is another example of our unflappable ability to deliver high quality concepts and content at every stage of the job, from ideas to execution. Comedic timing in this case was critical. We wanted these videos to be hilariously topical without compromising on a lengthy shelf life. The final product was a suite of punchy clips that shamelessly harked back to our lockdown low points, while pointing viewers forward to the wealth of unlocked potential on Melbourne’s Chapel Street.
