Chapel Street Precinct
CAMPAIGN

There is something awry in the cultural zeitgeist. A strange phenomenon taking hold of us ever-social creatures. We’ve traded dance floors for dating apps, restaurants for reheated takeaway, window shopping for web browsing. It’s a pattern of behaviour primed for the sharp comedic commentary of writer/director Julian Lucas who with the Chapel Street Precinct’s original concept to get people off the couch onto the iconic strip.

LIFE'S WAITING
ON CHAPEL

The four 30-second spots call out a generation who dine-in on comfort and convenience at the expense of experience. A familiar dark-twist from Jules, that explores the inevitable desperation of a sedentary life in front of the tele.

LOGISTICAL
APTITUDE

Supported by two talented local comedians, Jackson Tozer and Hannah Camilleri, the project is another end-to-end Wildebeest production, working closely with the Chapel Street Precinct to develop their concept and take it through to delivery – calling on the depth of our team and testing our logistical aptitude on-location in just a day and half-day shoot.
