Far from the amalgam of limitless adventure and possibilities we were promised, 2020 has so far seen the world put many of life’s simple pleasures to bed. But one thing it certainly won’t see is bland bedding. Instead, a recent collaboration between trend-setting luxury homewares brand, Adairs, and two local designers Down Under gave the Wildebeest team an opportunity to step into both Mark Tuckey and Fleur Harris’ homes to provide a raw and rare insight into their respective creative spaces.

The result is an honest and authentic snapshot of each designer’s home and motivation for the collaboration. Fuelled by the desire to far surpass the mediocre standard set by traditional social media videos, we created clips of substance that were not only aesthetically beautiful but unearthed the essence of each artist without appearing over-produced or contrived.

Warm aesthetic

The success of this shoot was a simple reflection of the intimately framed shoots and effortless relationships we were able to establish with Mark and Fleur. This ultimately helped infuse our videos with a warm authenticity that’s so rare in commercial collaborations. It was also a pleasure for the team to be immersed in such creatively-charged spaces.
