Working with an all-Australian cast of comedians from the festival allowed Julian to draw out every excruciatingly awkward moment at the water cooler, much to his delight.
Taking a classic approach to observational comedy, director Julian Lucas put the microscope up to the everyday obscurities of office life and the banal conversations that revolve around the water cooler.
Working alongside long-time collaborators, Gen C, Julian co-wrote the script with Jack White and directed the series of short films for the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Working with an all-Australian cast of comedians from the festival allowed Julian to draw out every excruciatingly awkward moment at the water cooler, much to his delight.
The single shoot produced by Gen C resulted in 9 webisodes and a campaign TVC which were released in the lead up to, and throughout, the prestigious international festival.
