We’d heard about an abandoned quarry somewhere near the coast in Victoria and thought it sounded like the perfect backdrop to showcase Finnigan’s latest range. The range uses a lot of dark, muted tones so this sat well with the earthy surrounds. The film became the perfect example of how the right location can drive film. The quarry was definitely a character in this particular film – luckily it’s just one of the many secret locations we’ve got up our sleeves.

“We really didn’t want to make a swimwear film about girls on the beach. Once we got the first glimpse of this place we were married to it. The label is intended for active females. We didn’t exactly include exercising, but rather the idea of searching; finding oneself in an unlikely environment. This is a reflection of the Finnigan customer.”
