Nussy is a Melbourne-based electronica artist who prides herself on standing out and having a story to tell in her music. As well as the final production, Nussy needed us to provide a fresh concept for her new track Dizzy. With a track name like that, we wanted to put the audience into a spin and match the track’s smooth, swirling, hypnotic feel – hiring a giant Lazy Susan seemed entirely appropriate for the occasion. Although, it turns out that filling a bath with pink water in the middle of a spinning studio wasn’t quite as straightforward as we’d hoped.

“Dizzy is about losing yourself in a moment. It was inspired by the pressure put on our generation to have big successes and to prove our worth. In constantly looking towards the future, we so easily forget to live in the present and enjoy the now.” We had a palette as a point of reference for the look and feel of the video, but one of the funnest parts was having this blank canvas, blasting the track, and going with what felt right.
